A serial shoplifter has been jailed.
Wayne Ranson, from Lees Lane, Gosport pleaded guilty to stealing Lynx deodrants worth £55.20 from the Morrisons store in Walpole Road, Gosport on July 15.
The 36 year old also pleaded guilty to stealing electrical goods worth £120 from ASDA at Speedfields Park, Fareham on July 1. On the same day he admitted stealing more electrical equipment, worth £149.97 from ASDA in Dock Road, Gosport.
Ranson pleaded guilty to returning to the ASDA store in Fareham two days later and stealing £2 of meat. He also admitted entering Orhans Kebab Shop in Brockhurst Road, Gosport, with intent to steal on June 4.
Ranson – a persistent offender – was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.
