A woman has been arrested after smashing into a row of parked cars in the early hours of this morning.
The driver was heading down Brockhurst Road, in Gosport, when she lost control of her blue Citroën and ploughed into several other vehicles.
Fire crews were first alerted to the crunch at 4.21am, arriving at the scene shortly after.
Gosport watch manager Sean Ratcliffe said at least four parked cars had been damaged in the incident.
He added: ‘It was quite an impact, it took the wheel off the driver’s car and deployed the airbags in the vehicle.’
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service took them injured driver, understood to be a 21-year-old from Gosport, to hospital with suspected head and neck injuries, added watch manager Ratcliffe.
A spokesman for Hampshire police said the force was investigating the collision, adding: ‘A 21-year-old woman from Gosport has been arrested in connection with the collision.’
