Motorist Alison Humpleby admitted driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit. She was caught while driving a Ford Kuga in Mumby Road, Gosport, on November 5.
A test revealed the 45-year-old’s breath contained 89 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.
Humpleby, of Fisgard Road, Gosport, was fined £270 by Fareham magistrates. She was also told to pay £85 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims and was banned from driving for three years.
The ban could be reduced by nine months if she pays to complete a government-approved driving course.
