Ricky Hobbins, 28, of no fixed address was arrested with a number of thefts from cars in Gosport and charged with handling stolen goods.
It comes after Police received a call relating to a number of thefts from cars in Priddy’s Hard.
Police Sergeant Lesley Meenaghan said ‘There have been insecure vehicles targeted in Lee-on-the-Solent, Stubbington and Titchfield. This area is a hostile environment for the criminal. I would appeal to all owners to ensure they check their vehicles are left secure with no valuables on display.’
Four unlocked vehicles were entered in Alverstoke overnight on May 19.
