This year’s Domestic Abuse campaign, Speak Out Today, begins across the force on 16th December 2013. The campaign will run for three weeks to cover the Christmas and New Year period as historically incidents of Domestic Abuse go up at this time of year.
Victims of Domestic Abuse are being encouraged to Speak Out Today. Police and partner agencies are here to help.
On average a victim suffers 33 assaults before the Police are called. Speak Out Today. Call Police on 101 or in an emergency call 999.
If you know someone who is suffering, help them. Speak Out Today. Report it.
Domestic Abuse can take many forms, it doesn’t have to be physical violence. Domestic Abuse doesn’t just affect women, men can be victims too.
