The Victim Care Service provides free, confidential support to residents across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and their aim is to empower people to move beyond crime, in a way that suits them.
The impact of crime can be devastating and over the last year (April 2020- end of March2021), in the midst of global pandemic, the Victim Care Service supported 3,374 victims of crime in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The service supports people if they have been a victim of crime, regardless of whether they have told the police.
