This man is wanted by police after a 43-year-old was threatened with a knife in his home.

Detectives have released an e-fit in a bid to track down the suspected burglar after two men forced their way through the front door of a flat in Lees Lane, Gosport.  Inside, they threatened the 43-year-old man who lives there with a knife and demanded money.  The man said he did not have any money.

When a neighbour came in to ask what was going on, the two men left the flat empty-handed and left the building using the communal stairs.

Details of the burglary, which happened on December 13 at around 2.15pm, have just been released by police.

One of the men, pictured, was described as white, in his late teens, with a slight build and moustache.  He was 5ft 8ins tall and wore a grey hooded top with the hood up.

The only description of the second man is that he was of a similar build and height to the first man.

Detective Constable Jason Mann said: ‘This had the potential to be a very serious incident and these suspects need to be identified and arrested. This happened just before the end of the school day and the area would have been busy.  The offenders are believed to have run towards the cycle track by the Sanderson Centre and someone may have seen them.

Anyone with information should call Det Con Mann at Gosport police station on 101.  Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers hotline anonymously on 0800 555 111.
