Police are appealing for witnesses after a string of burglaries in Gosport.
There were three burglaries at homes in Bevis Road on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th March. One house, owned by an elderly man, was targeted on both nights. Someone went into the house and stole a number of bank cards, before going into a neighbour’s garage and stealing a pizza.
At some time between 5pm and 7pm on Monday 4th March, someone entered a house through a window in Sedgley Grove and stole a money tin with a £10 note design which contained around £300, a silver Tag watch with a silver dial and a Pandora-style bracelet with two green, two blue and two silver charms aswell as a zebra charm.
Then between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday 2nd March, a burglar walked into a house in Sovereign Avenue while the residents were in another room. A brown satchel-style handbag, a brown Radley purse and a black Nokia phone were stolen.
