Police are warning people to be extra vigilant after money was stolen from a Gosport home.
A bottle of whisky containing £60 was stolen from a house in School Road in the town. The incident took place on Monday between 5.40pm and 9.30pm. The thief got into the house by smashing a panel in the front door.
Investigating officer PC Tara Magnus said: ‘Please be mindful of the security of your property. Close curtains during the hours of darkness and leave the lights or radio on. Store your valuables out of sight.’
