Community Project is a 12 week Prince’s Trust team programme.
This programme is for 16 – 25 year olds who are not in education or employment and consists of different activities designed to help these young people develop and gain new skills to try and enable them to achieve a positive outcome.
A national statistic of this programme is after 6 months after finishing the programme the 75% of the young adults have moved into a positive outcome.
Part of the programme is a two week community project. The young adults will have to complete a local project which will benefit the local community.
Paula Hankin, the Team Leader of the Prince’s Trust is interested to see if you have a project that needs completing. This could be anything from gardening to painting. He is looking for a large project as he is to have 15 young adults on the programme to do the project.
The project is at no cost to you as the young adults will fundraise towards the project so therefore is free for you. The dates of the project are Tuesday 30th May until Friday 9th June.
If you have a project in mind then please let Paula know via email – paula.hankin@hantsfire.gov.uk or call me on 07918 887865
