Five women attacked a cyclist for a pack of cigarettes.
The 29-year-old woman was robbed as she cycled along a track near Durham Street in Gosport at 5.15pm on Saturday. She was approached by a group of five women and one asked for a lighter. The rest of the group assaulted and robbed her.
She was left with scratches to her cheeks and the gang got away with a packet of 10 cigarettes, a lighter and a small amount of cash.
The women were all between 18 and 20 years old. One was around 5ft 7in with a black coat and dark hair tied back in a pony tail. Another was wearing a pink tracksuit and had bleached blonde hair which was tied back.
Detective Constable Barbara Hamilton, from Fareham police station, said: ‘During the incident the cyclist said one of the girls sustained a bloody nose. Are you able to help identify this person or the woman wearing a distinctive pink tracksuit?’
Call police on 101.
