Magistrates have told a teenager who was caught with stolen sweets and crisps to pay £75. Lewis Scott, of South Street, Gosport, was found with £15 worth of food taken from the Bluebird Cafe in Lee-on-the-Solent. Driver was more than twice the legal limit

Drink driver Steven Mitchell has been banned from the roads. Mitchell admitted driving a Peugeot in Williams Close, Gosport, while more than twice the legal alcohol limit on November 5. Woman, 54, admits assaulting PC

Magistrates have fined a woman for assaulting a police officer. Rosemary Bills, from Gorselands Way, Gosport, pleaded guilty to assaulting the PC in Waverley Road, Southsea, on November 11. The 54-year-old was given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 in court costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
