Magistrates have fined a man for producing cannabis. David Jackson, 47, of Whiteacres Close, Gosport, admitted committing the offence at his home on September 12. Labourer is remanded in custody after church raid

Magistrates have remanded a man in custody over an alleged break-in at a church. Wayne Ranson is accused of kicking in the back door of the Solent Evangelical Church in Forton Road, Gosport, between October 5 and 7. Father-of-two Ranson, of Kealy Road, Gosport, denies a charge of burglary with intent to steal.

Magistrates have fined a man for possessing cannabis. Mathew Christmas, from St Lukes Road, Gosport, pleaded guilty to having the class B drug on him in Havant on October 18.
