Teenager is pushed in attempted robbery

A 17 year old girl was walking her springer spaniel in the Twyford Drive area of Lee-on-the-Solent when she saw a boy and a man on bikes at the Co-op.  Both started to follow her as she walked along Common Barn Lane on Friday 21st March between 17:00 – 17:30.

One of the two, a man aged about 19, cycled up to her, pushed her and grabbed her handbag.  The girl kept hold of her bag and the man cycled off.

The 19 year old was white, around 5ft 9ins tall, had light brown slicked back hair that looked shiny with hair product.  He wore a navy blue hoodie.

The boy aged about 15 had long floppy brown hair and was wearing clothing brighter than the other suspect.  He was riding a BMX.  Police say it was a isolated incident.

Please call 101 if you have any information relating to this incident.
